Welcome to the Southern Railways Group Website.

The Group was formed over 40 years ago to study and disseminate information about the Southern Railway, British Railways (Southern Region), its successors and minor railways in southern England. Publications include data sheets, a bi-monthly newsletter, and a quarterly magazine.

The Group also produces the 'Phoenix' range of coaching stock kits for modellers working in 4mm scale, and has an active Sales operation, which whilst catering for the Southern modeller also includes many kits and components for the GW, LMS, LNER and BR modeller.

There is also an email discussion group, with associated photo and file storage facilities, exclusively for SRG members. More details
