Transfers supplied by the Historical Model Railway Society are recommended for SR period modellers, while for BR Green painted EMUs, SRG codes DW1-5 are recommended. However, as standard, Phoenix Coach kits have a representation of a gutter pressed into the roof section. A suitable piece of aluminium is included in these kits to be fixed to the inside of the roof/bodyside joint as reinforcing so that when the adhesives have set the unwanted gutter can be filed away.
